Hiring Project Coordinator in Tokyo

Write us ︎︎︎ seg@koi.lt until February 10th
First-ever European Photography Month in Tokyo is looking for Project Coordinator.

The project - EUROPEAN PHOTOGRAPHY MONTH IN TOKYO - will present European photography in Tokyo public spaces - train and subway stations, construction site walls,  cafés and galleries, creating a map of art in the city with more than 300 artworks exhibited.

Exhibitions are followed by satelite events, VIP opening, photo-walks, art auctions, discussions and masterclasses.

A website, active social and media campaign will aid Tokyonites and city guests to discover the events.

Initiative is supported by Arts Council Tokyo, EU Delegation to Japan, European Embassies and other partners.

It is a flexible part-time position. The work will start now, beginning of February 2025 and will end in November, 2025. Spring is for a million of emails to gain partnerships and settle the content. And early Autumn is for the organizing part.
Fresh challenges
Consider this a start-up event with strong institutional backbone. So some creative development will happen along the way.
We also wish to bring artworks outside the galleries and to the public spaces as much as we can - to the construction site walls,
